Jordan Kirk lives outside of Los Angeles, where he teaches medieval literature at Pomona College. His first book, Medieval Nonsense: Signifying Nothing in Fourteenth-Century England, was published by Fordham University Press in 2021; his second, The Kaoma Theorem, was published by Teorema in 2022. His current research is in the history and theory of interpretation; psychotropics in the Middle Ages; and premodern contact across Afro-Eurasia. He studied comparative literature at NYU and Princeton.
